For the average blogger? Sure. But look at the people who are making real money online - they're either search engine spammers, or content aggregators. (technorati, digg etc) Neither of these are actually creating content, the blackhats are either stealing it, or generating it automatically (markov etc), and the aggregators are just taking YOUR content and wrapping it in THEIR ads.
