If you have typed the keyword, “digitalpoint ban” or ” banned from digitalpoint” in google, you will most probably come across the blog entry i posted a couple of months ago. Being banned for apparently no reason or explanation at all, i am sure anyone won’t be happy about it. What is the administration of webmaster forum turning into? Does we users have a say? Are there any better webmasters forum in the net that is worth registering and contributing? Yes, there is one……
Today, i am glad to introduce a brand new webmaster forum, called Netbuilders.org to all of you.
Overview of Netbuilders.org
Before we go into the details of my experience in Netbuilders, let me do a brief introduction of the guy who founded this forum. Will Spencer is a fulltime webmaster who has been an early adopter of the internet since the 1980s. Up to now, He own hundreds of websites which make him $70k plus monthly.
What can you find in Netbuilders?
Like most of the webmaster forums out there, netbuilders is powered with the latest VBulletin forum software and VBSEO. With a sparkling web 2.0 logo and skin design, it makes navigating and browsing of the forum pretty neat and comfortable. As for the forum, it has sections ranging from domaining, programming to the marketplace. Though there’s not a vast number of sections, it’s current sections looks adequate to serve the forum well. ( I am sure W.Spencer will add more sections as time goes by)
Unlike Digitalpoint, there are a few more features in Netbuilders. There’s a FlashChat which allows users to mingle with each other in realtime. And in addition to it, registered members can also create their own blogs in Netbuilders. Thats cool right?
My Experiences with Netbuilders
I first joined this forum after receiving an email from Will. At first, i wasn’t really “into” registering another webmaster forum, but i changed my mind after visiting it after a couple of times. In Netbuilders.org, you can see Will and his moderators really working hard to make Netbuilders a better webmaster forum.
To support my above statement, just visit this thread at here. :)
The moderators team also consist of some old, reputable member from Digitalpoint. Though Netbuilders is currently smaller than most of the already established webmaster forum like Digitalpoint and v7n, it’s growing at a rapid rate with 700 members and 11k post in just 2 months. That’s a pretty remarkable achievement for a new forum.
